Five Nights At Freddy’s World Tour Getting Mixed Reviews

Blog News 1

On October 30, Five Nights at Freddy’s creator developer Scott Cawthon uploaded an exclusive new trailer of Five Nights at Freddy’s World Tour on YouTube page, and lets just say fans are not happy. The new trailer debuts a game that appears to break away from the tradition scare and horror featured in the original Freddy series and introduces a new RPG format featuring happier characters.  Needless to say, FNAF World Tour IS NOT a horror game, and while Cawthon mentioned that fact, die hard fans have voiced their displeasure throughout the YouTube comments section.

While the trailer has received mostly good feedback, the video is already up to over 2,000 dislikes and 66,000 likes.  “Just when you thought it couldn’t get more awful then before it became a rpg :/ ” stated one fan.

Personally, seeing the game developer switch gears to a different angle of cute characters in combat that looks like it comes from a home-brewed Final Fantasy RPG is disgusting, but at some point you have to either kill the series or take it in another direction.

FNAF World is set to release sometime next year.
